Chapters 2762-2771 Bai Zhe’s Inheritance 7

2762 The Bai Zhe reveals that this is the last round, and SL readies herself to amass crystals. Furious at losing his points, the elder starts to stomp off, walking along the wall but failing to find the exit. Meanwhile LYJ had raised twice as many points from all the Crafty Thorn members, causing discontent since they could’ve redeemed the items themselves, rather than have her waste it. She reminds them that there are still prizes in the 4th stage and not to walk away like the elder.

2763-2764 However, when she orders them to relinquish any crystals they find, the men are indignant since even the Empress wouldn’t exploit them so much, planning to secretly redeem their own prizes. SL runs after the little dragon, determined to win the WSW and NNSG, when the Bai Zhe reveals the sceptre is still incomplete. SL can only receive the inheritance after assembling the Luminous Night Pearl and Black Jade pieces on the sceptre, both of which can be redeemed from the old man, but are very expensive. The territory will also collapse once she’s received the inheritance and SL needs to exchange everything else before, to avoid losing the herbs. Using its nose, the little dragon sniffs out the crystals within the ground, as the SGT extends its roots to grab them. SL is delighted as she gains 9,876 crystals.

2765 SL glances through the catalogue to see the WSW costs 2 million crystals, while the NNSG isn’t even available. SL is dumbfounded when she sees that the Black Jade is 5 million and the Night Pearl is 3 million, requiring a total of 10 million crystals. Watching how shocked SL is, the Bai Zhe recalls a map with the crystal veins, since the little dragon can only sense treasure within range. Taking SL’s paper and pen, the Bai Zhe draws a map from his hazy memory, with the 4th floor divided into 4 sections.

2766 The map gridlines contain the alphabet, but the Bai Zhe refuses to reveal his ties with Earth, while he also indicated the size of the crystal deposits. SL finds a medium sized deposit 5km to the east, and a large deposit 10km west. Thinking no one else will discover it before her, she heads east, running past a Crafty Thorn squad. With LY’s support, the squad isn’t as hostile, even joking amongst themselves that they’d follow SL over LYJ due to her luck, only for SL to dash away with her leg bones.

2767 Realizing SL was trying to shake them off, they scurry after her but can’t match her speed. Arriving at the deposit, the Bai Zhe warns her the group will arrive in 30 minutes, and SL urges her spirit pets to dig out the crystals to add to her space.

2768 SL is elated with her 120,000 crystals, when the SGT digs the final crystal, with Crafty Thorn less than a minute away. It wiggles loose in the last 10 seconds, and SL throws her pets and the crystals in her space, before teleporting away. Outside, the Crafty Thorn members gather around the hole, waiting for SL to emerge and to grab the crystals from her. Before they can react, the ground explodes, tossing earth into the air, causing some to faint and injuries to others as SL smirks from afar.

2769 SL now has 180,000 crystals and races towards the large deposit, when she notices LYJ and the mysterious man’s groups facing each other near the deposit. Both teams are at a standoff, with neither making a move. SL is unwilling to relinquish the deposit since it contains over 1 million crystals, taking out her mask to assume the bear man’s form.

2770 The mysterious man offers to divide the find in half. LYJ insists on having Crafty Thorn mine the crystals, but the talk falls through when the man insists they surrender their storage items containing several crystals. The men roar in rage, when SL in her bear man disguise yells that Crafty Thorn had gone too far, instigating a fight between both sides, allowing SL the opportunity to behead one of the Crafty Thorn members. Watching his blood spray, LYJ is furious over the loss and slays 3 Demonic Clan members.

2771 Both sides are overwhelmed with rage and anxiety, thirsting for each other’s blood. LYJ fights the mysterious man, as the bear man who instigated the frenzy disappears. SL had created a diversion for the little dragon to burrow into the crystal deposit, using the SGT’s thousands of vines to remove the crystals while the two sides are preoccupied with each other.
