Chapters 2710-2718 Bai Zhe’s Inheritance 1

2710 The ground quakes and magma bursts out, as the entire Bai Zhe territory is restructured. SL wakes to the sight of the ruined landscape, as NL surmises collecting all weapons had revealed the Bai Zhe’s real tomb. SL is shocked at how extravagant the Bai Zhe is, when she notices the 18 weapons had fused into a translucent white jade sceptre. LYJ, the mysterious man in black and the 7th elder all appear with their respective factions, gleaming as they notice the floating white sceptre and leap towards it.

2711 The sceptre exudes a powerful aura, sending them flying. SL is delighted to see them fall, as they yell to their subordinates to snatch the inheritance. Watching the 3 factions fight, SL remarks at the futility since the Bai Zhe has already chosen its successor, when the sceptre’s barrier grows weaker.

2712 The sceptre suddenly drops out of its barrier and flies towards SL, as she reaches out, sensing that it’s rightfully hers. The crowd is stunned to see SL obtain the Divine Jade Sceptre (神玉权杖 Shén Yù Quán Zhàng) so easily. Swinging the sceptre, green liquid flows through the transparent jade and SL’s body grows warm, as energy surges within her. As 13’s superior, LYJ commands SL to surrender the sceptre, approaching when SL ignores her, only to be blocked by NL.

2713 The rest of the audience bemoan at NL’s strength, when they find themselves surrounded by magical beasts. NL commands them to stop fighting amongst themselves and face the beasts together. The elder and the mysterious man are both hesitant since the inheritance is already with Crafty Thorn. Wanting experience, SL fights the beasts, as NL watches on protectively. LYJ seethes at the sight, when hundreds of Saint level Spirit Guards appear, causing them to despair.

2714 NL reminds them that the only way out is to fight, and that the guards can be killed, reinvigorating them. While the factions normally oppose each other, the beasts within the territory regard all outsiders as enemies and would exterminate them. SL suspects the guards were after her, as NL smirks that she should let others act for her. SL is stunned at how calculating NL is, when she notices ZW struggling within the battle and flies down to save him.

2715 ZW was facing 4 Spirit Guards between 6 and 9 stars. SL waves her sceptre, when a burst of green liquid sprays out, freezing a guard in place. Stunned, SL aims the wand at several other guards, freezing them as well. Reluctant to be rescued by a Crafty Thorn member, ZW attempts to thank SL, when she whispers her identity. ZW is shocked by SL’s achievements, and that she would have LY’s support. The PIF had deliberately led the guards towards ZW, hoping they’d remove him, and watches on in shock. She then screams where the sceptre is, and that it could turn the guards into stone.

2716 While the PIF wanted to entice others to act, few would dare to oppose LY. The crowd also doubts her claim, when more guards rush towards SL and she freezes them with the sceptre. Several people start requesting for her to freeze their opponents, when SL wonders what will happen if she aims it at a person, before walking off. SL notices the liquid has decreased, when NL states that the inheritance will disappear once it’s used up. The crowd clamour that they can defeat their own opponents, surrounding her to shield her from the guards and prevent her from using the sceptre.

2717 The crowd had hoped the inheritance wasn’t restricted to one person, and would rather risk their lives than have SL use the sceptre. LYJ watches as SL returns to NL, violating his rule to keep 30 feet away. Recalling the barrier he had set around his tent, and watching LY’s eyes glitter as he rubs the male 13’s head, LYJ is so stunned she allows a Spirit Guard to attack her. Her bodyguard removes the guard, as LYJ sluggishly approaches NL, fearing he might admit to it, or his reaction if she falsely accuses him.

2718 Watching SL and NL in their own world, LYJ runs off, unable to ask. NL ignores her, telling SL to watch the battle below. LYJ calls the captain over, as he relates LY’s praise of 13, causing LYJ’s face to darken. She orders him to remove 13 and bring back the sceptre. While the Captain is ranked 1st, he’s too insignificant in front of LYJ. The little dragon delivers a recording of the scene to SL as NL offers to remove the Captain.
